That was utterly fantastic!!
I loved the art, the concept, the voice acting, the characters -- they all felt so alive and fresh! The music for the house of worship levels were extremely good as well. I was wondering how a game would go about making the player "draw" a symbol to be used as a hex or bind on an enemy and this showed exactly what I was thinking!
The gameplay itself was fun. It took me a bit to get used to the controls at first, but I got it. The mouse controlling the lighting is an awesome idea.
Here are my observations: The gameplay is fun, but right now it's pretty much 'press space, click', and in the boss battle, 'press space, click, draw pentagram, click'. Awesome, but I could see it getting stale after a couple levels if that all there was to it. I would also reccomend a sound for when the vine gets purified after the boss battle, if not just for a satisfying "boss completed" feeling.
Bottom line, I love the atmosphere this game puts out. It reminds me of the games and animations I want to make as well with all the ambition that's in this. I wish you luck and will play it when it comes out!
